Case Study “HAPPY CHILDREN”,
Play kiosk terminal for CCC:
The play terminal has been developed exclusively
for the Children Car Company (CCC). In the near
future it will be gracing the sales areas in
department stores, supermarkets and other
retail outlets such as Obi, Ikea and Familia.
These terminals offer children interesting and
varied activities to keep them busy whilst parents
shop or wait. With no interruptions, they can
concentrate on talking to advisers or sales staff
or just get on with what they have to do in a less
stressful and hectic atmosphere.
Kiosks UK - Rittal has worked closely with Lunapix,
a software supplier, to develop this appealing
terminal. The design is attractive and unusual
and at the same time just right for a child.
The touch-sensitive screen in a friendly teddy
bear's face invites children to play.
Kiosks UK - Rittal is supplying CCC with a complete
system where every detail has been well thought out.
Along with the design and learning considerations,
it was also necessary to get the technology right.
The special housing in painted sheet steel allows
easy rear access to the hardware components,
which are also available from the Rittal range of
accessories.
